Happy Halloween, Everyone!

Still waiting while she gets her rope tied around her waist.

Story and her "friends." She is obsessed with saying, friends. On Sunday, we drove by one of those amusement parks that come into town and take over a random parking lot and Story said, "I wanna go there with my friends." Anyway, I was trying to get all the kids in the picture (not just mine) but I had my 50mm lens on, which won't capture a large group of people unless you're standing a mile away.

Story's official first house. She did great. Luke helped her at most of the doors.

Going to doors is not always necessary because many people sit in their driveways to pass out candy. I didn't think much of it until my friend pointed out that people can't sit in their driveways most other places because it is too cold. True dat. While I miss crisp, cool fall weather, you can't beat trick-or-treating in pleasant, warm weather.

Okay, so when I said Luke helped Story at most of the doors, this is one door that he didn't help her at. He was there, but waiting in the driveway. Luke let her walk up with the other kids to this door by herself. All of the sudden we hear another dad yell to us, "Uh, Story just let herself into that person's house."

Yeah.

So Story walked in, all the way to their living room, and asked the wife if she could use the potty. So this is a picture of Luke in the living room picking up Story. The homeowner's were kind enough to let Story use their facilities. After our group moved on to the next house, the man shut his door and Luke and Story were still inside. Not sure if the homeowner's realized they had a notorious cat burglar in their midst, otherwise they would have had second thoughts on letting her use their bathroom.

Happy Halloween, everyone!

Such a funny costume. Way to be creative Rissa. And I must say, I laughed out loud when I read the part about Story asking to use the bathroom. That is too funny. Gotta love trick or treating with little ones. Now if Story can just talk my girls into wanting to use the bathroom instead of the diapers we would be much better off ;)

Such a good girl. You're suppose to let someone know when you need to go. :D
And hey, we didn't have shorts on, but we went without jackets last night! (of course the storm that was narrowly missed was here in full force this morning)
